What could this therapy heal?

by Michael J. Shea, Ph.D.

Craniosacral therapy takes a “whole person” approach to healing. The interconnections of mind, body and spirit are acknowledged, as well as, how the body reflects experiences and retains the memory of trauma. It is an effective form of treatment for a wide range of illnesses, helping to create optimal conditions for health. Some conditions that commonly respond well to treatment include:

  • Autism
  • Central nervous system disorders
  • Chronic back pain
  • Migraine headaches
  • Neuromuscular disorders
  • Immune disorders
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Learning disabilities
  • Craniosacral therapy is particularly effective on children and infants
